Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) Kent recently relocated to Kent Science Park. Led by Clare Stokes, the 16-strong team offers standalone mortgage and protection advice to customers both face to face and over the phone.
Clare explained the business’ mission statement: “We challenge to better, to build relationships, to search opportunities, to give knowledgeable mortgage and protection advice, to become a greatly recognised mortgage brokerage in Kent but starting with Swale.”
Customer service is the key to the success of Clare’s business. “My team put customers at the heart of everything they do ensuring customers receive a first-class service and that they’re prepared for their long-term future. We don’t ever shut the door on a customer, and our friendly team are like one big family who are more than happy to answer a one-off question from a customer or help in any way they possibly can.”
Part of what makes MAB stand out from their high street competitors is the sheer volume of mortgage lenders that they work with. They have access to over 90 lenders – thus giving customers a far greater choice of mortgage.
A strong, supportive team and access to a variety of lenders are just two of the reasons that MAB Kent scores so highly on customer feedback. They have an average customer satisfaction rating of 4.8/5; with over half of their customers rating them 5/5.
Clare discussed the possibility of winning a Swale Business Award: “When we receive a good customer review or recommendation, it makes us feel proud we are doing a good job, however, winning this award would be a massive step up from that. If we can prove we’re award winning on a local level, it will help us to achieve the business growth we so desperately desire. We provide a crucial service to clients at what can be a stressful time of arranging a mortgage and moving home and plan to be at the heart of the Swale community for many years to come.”
