For the last four years, Julian Swayland and the team at Kent Movers Ltd have been building a solid reputation based on providing outstanding customer service. The family run business takes care of any type of domestic or commercial move, including all packing, disassembling and reassembling furniture.
Julian discussed the development of his business over the last four-years: “We started the business with a small loan and we haven’t looked back since. Our turnover has increased year-on-year. We have achieved this by marketing our services to Estate Agents and New Houses that come up for sale, as well as backing up our sterling reputation with Checkatrade, meaning our customers can be reassured that their possessions are in good hands.”
With a team of seven employees, recruitment remains a top priority for Kent Movers. Julian and his team work with the local job centre to find new staff that are looking for work. His goal is to continue to find new team members as he has ambitions to grow his fleet of vehicles and expand his staff over the next few years.
Julian spoke about why he had entered the 2018 awards, and why he felt that Kent Movers should be recognised: “The removals industry is difficult and with a lot of hard work and commitment we are still going from strength-to-strength. It would be a great achievement to win an award and something my whole team could be proud of.”
