In 2016, AngelsLocks won the first ever Sheppey Business of the Year Award. Determined to continue to build on this success, they have once again put themselves forward for the Swale Business Awards.
For four years now, the Sheerness based-company have developed a flourishing business selling hair extension solutions to qualified technicians and providing training courses. Led by Director Angela Croall, the small team of experts working for AngelsLocks offer a brand of very high quality and affordable hair extensions available in a range of five different application methods to suit individual clients needs and technicians skills.
Angela discussed what made her business stand out from her competitors: “Although there are lots of other hair extension companies AngelsLocks stands out because of our consistency of product quality. We work closely with the companies who produce our products as ensuring a high level of quality control procedures means that our reputation with in our industry is extremely good. Having a full team of staff members trained in the technicalities of our product range means that we are able to offer a much more efficient level of customer service. Those needing help or advice have the ability to call and speak to someone who is knowledgeable without having to wait for someone else to call them back. Clients like to feel supported and right from their first point of contact they are able to build trust with the brand. We have also set up a private members support group dedicated to motivating, advising and supporting our customers.”
Angela is determined to move her business forward by continuing the steady growth she has seen over the past four years, and in order to help do this is developing an Ecommerce site for her clients. She is also focused on the training side of the business, with training schools set to open up across the UK in the next 12 months.
When asked about winning a 2017 Swale Business Award, Angela replied: “I feel that when in business it is important to not only be moving forward and planning your next strategies but to also look back and see how you have come forward from where you were. To learn as you go and to also help others along the way has given me such a felling of job satisfaction to see how the stylists whom we sell our extensions to and have supported have grown their own businesses. I believe that through pure passion, hard work and determination we have become more successful and are in a much stronger position than we were one year ago. In the past year we have remained close as a team and focused but at the same time have also enjoyed our work journey.”
