Since they began trading in February 2011, the 9-strong team has been providing innovative solutions to international companies (such as Jeep, Fiat & Chrysler), as well as companies local to Swale.
Boom Solutions offer a unique approach to web design, creating completely bespoke websites that are developed to the client’s own specification. Once they understand the client’s business fully they begin working on the website design with pen and paper, before taking it online.
Managing Director David Chick discussed Boom Solutions’ progression: “We have shown very significant growth over the years and continue to build on this success. We have continued to reinvest into the company to develop and grow the business further every year. We operate in a fast changing and dynamic marketplace, which is still developing and maturing. As a result we have had to adapt the way we price, sell and pitch our products and services.”
Sales Director Gemma Hill also commented: “We have been gradually changing our business from a ‘products’ led business to more of a services led business and this has meant significant investment into our systems and staff training to ensure we can continue to develop the service we offer. I think ultimately our business has grown at a quicker rate than most of our competitors because our approach allows us to offer a unique service to every client that we work with.”
Part of the investment David speaks of also highlights the business’ commitment to innovation, as well as their commitment to the local Swale community. At a time when many high streets across the nation are flagging, Boom Solutions are currently in the process of developing their new offices on Sittingbourne High Street. The plans for their new office include offering a new digital walk-in clinic, which offers free advice, hints and tips to local businesses. They will also have the space to double their staff and increase the number of meeting rooms.
David spoke about why he had entered Boom Solutions into the Swale Business Awards. “We are a true local business that is dedicated to the local business community, from our new offices on Sittingbourne High Street to our commitment to offering our staff a wide-range of perks and training. Looking after and developing our staff is our priority – two of our full time staff started as apprentices and we offer everyone regular training, both in-house and externally. Now that we have completed three years I believe that we really understand our marketplace, and the changes we have made within our business in that time have made it almost unrecognizable from when Gemma and I started. We have reinvested everything back into the business to ensure that it continues to grow at the impressive pace we have managed so far.”
