The company manufactures goods for the motorsport industry. Its main products are kart and car seats for kit cars and small sports vehicles.
In addition it provides rib protectors for kart drivers who often get badly bruised during events plus associated products and accessories that are made in house for the karting industry.
Some of the items are also used in wheelchairs and on surfboards for disabled children.
Director Martine Tillett said: “We also now make a seat that is FIA approved, this means it can be used in the motor racing industry.
“This is a market that we intend to expand into. We do a large part of the body parts for the Caterham road cars.
“Our customer base is global. We have dealerships in Europe, Russia, America, Dubai, Australia, Asia plus we supply some of the non-stream car companies with seats and more.”
A total of 28 full-time and three part-time work at the premises but the firm is hoping to build a new 20,000 square foot unit in the town so it can employ more staff and expand the business so it can produce goods for some of the high end market cars.
Recently it turned away work from some of the larger car manufacturers such as Bentley and McClaren due to not having the room in its current environment.
She added: “The problem is there are very few units of the size we want in the Sittingbourne area, so we are purchasing a plot of ground and hope to be starting work on the build this autumn.”
